Itinerary
Day 1 Bangkok/train Days 2-3 Khao Sok Day 4 Krabi Day 5 Depart

Day 1: At 6pm you will be met at the hotel for your transfer to Hualamphong railway station. Overnight on board a 2nd class air-conditioned sleeper.

Day 2: After arriving in Surat Thani you will be transferred to Khao Sok, declared a national park in 1980 and named after its highest mountain. An important ecological unity, it consists of dense rainforest interspersed with limestone mountains and is without doubt this is one of Thailand's most spectacular national parks. In the afternoon take a boat trip on the scenic Rajaprabha Lake.

Day 3: Today spend the whole day in the park with an experienced jungle guide. Although most of the animals have withdrawn to the more remote parts of the forest, there is still a good chance of spotting hornbills, gibbons and, with a bit of luck, even gaur or banteng. No matter what, a walk through the rainforest is a breathtaking experience. Gigantic creepers and dipterocarps rise above a maze of vines, bamboos and tropical ferns. The rare "Rafflesia", the largest flower in the world, blooms here at certain times of the year.

Day 4: Depart Khao Sok by air-conditioned minibus to Krabi, an easy and pleasant trip of about 3 hours. On arrival check in to a comfortable resort located right on Hat Nopparat Thana beach. This 2 km long beach is a part of the Koh Phi-Phi National Park. Small boats are ready to take you away to one of the many islands. The boulevard of Ao Nang is a five minute drive from the resort.

Day 5: Transfer to the airport is included.
